    Can I consume essential oil? If yes, how much to use?

    Yes, we have many customers who add 2-3 drops organic lemon/peppermint/lavender to tea, or Vanilla for baking. Having said that, due to different people having different sensitivity and allergies, we generally do not recommend oral consumption unless you are a very experienced user. In general, if you choose to ingest essential oils, it is crucial for your safety that you are following a protocol appropriate for your health. Consider that most protocols indicate only 1 or 2 drops of essential oil be ingested once, sometimes twice, per day. Make sure there is enough dilution before ingesting them. To be safe, essential oils should not be ingested by children or pregnant or nursing mothers. We highly recommend you receive the guidance of a qualified health professional before proceeding ingesting essential oils. Thanks!

    What is the expiry date of the oils?

    Pure essential oil do not have expiry date. In general, all our steam distilled essential oils have a shelf life of at least 2 years from our most recent batch, and even more when stored properly. Therefore extra care should be taken to store them safely away from sources of heat. Never leave oils in a place where the sun will shine directly on them - like in your car or on a window shelf in the bathroom, for example. Thanks.

However, there are SOME equipment in the market that specifies that they CANNOT be used with pure essential oil. In this case, please do not use our essential oils. It is always the best and safest to check with your equipment seller. Just ask them "Can this be used with 100% pure essential oil?" They should give you the most accurate advise. Thanks!
