    Answer
    Hi

Looking at the sample that we have made 2 years ago since we started selling this UV resin, no discoloration is noticed so far.

Manufacturer claims that this resin is resistant to yellowing. Personally I think slight discoloration is inevitable.

    Answer
    Hi
UV resin is perfect for shrink art. Pour the resin direct onto the shrink plastic, and spread gently with toothpick. Then put it under UV light for few minutes till cured/hardened. No sanding and polishing required.

    Question

    Answer
    Hi

Your UV lamp is strong enough to cure the UV resin.

Please note that UV light has no effect on AB resin.
    Felicity Findings 2019-01-21
    Question
So i dont have to buy another lamp? Can just use my 36w? And also, for 36w lamp, how long should i wait for the resin to cure? For AB resin, i bought from your shop before, but still sticky and uncure after 24 hours, what other way to cure it? Cant use UV Light?
    Answer
You don't need to buy another Lamp since yours is 36W. It takes 5mins or more to cure, depending on thickness and amount of colour pigment mixed with resin.

There are few reasons that AB resin remains tacky.
    - Incorrect proportion of A and B
    - Not throughly mixed (have to stir at least 2mins).
    - too much dye added.

There is no way to cure it if it remains tacky after 24hrs. You will have to redo it again.

    Question

    Answer
    Hi,

Have to use the coarser sandpaper (higher grit) first to sand down unwanted part, then use finer one to smoothen it, lastly buff it to bring out the shine. Did you do it this way?
    Felicity Findings 2019-01-14
    Question
    Hi,

I start with 100 grit then move up to 1000. Apply fine scratch remover then apply plastic shine. Still not able to get it to shine. It's still cloudy
    Answer
    Hi,

I'm sorry about my previous reply, I meant to say start with a lower grit first. I see that you have got the right steps. :)
But 1000 grit probably is not enough, will need at least 2000 and above. I've just tested with a 2000 grit and it looks fine, but if you want better clarity, use above 2000 grit. :)
    Question
    Hi,
Thank you so much for your help!!!! Will try with a 2000 grit and get back to you!!
    Answer
    Sure. :)
    You are welcome.
    Question
    Hi,
Thank you for your help earlier. I have tried to sand my resin again this time from 1500 - 3000 grit. I'm not able to get the super clear finish as it was originally. I'm not sure if there's smth wrong with my sanding process. How long am I supposed to sand through each grit or how would I know that the resin can start to be sanded onto the next grit?
    Answer
it usually doesn't take too long.
You mentioned you applied scratch remover and plastic shine, did you have success getting clear shine when you tried with other resins before? I wonder could those be the culprits. They are liquid or paste-like substance right?

We only use buffer sandpaper. The type use for manicure to buff the nails till it shine.
