    Okay, it has gotten worse. Overnight, it has led to a mini flood from the bedside table to the entire floor. I’ve washed everything out and i’ve noticed the mist is now different. Instead of spraying upwards, it is now sort of rolling like a fog. It worked fine the first 2 times I used it, but has now flooded the floors, vases, lamps, table top right now to the at least 4 feet of flooring. I will like to arrange for an exchange please.

    I have:
    1) cleaned out machine base and water tank x2
    2) removed lemon slices (tried with and without)
    3) changed positions of the humidifier (higher/lower/further from wall)
    4) changed water levels
    5) unplugged and waited for an hour to use it.

    The result is still the same. It is not working like it did on the first day. Like I mentioned, I have used 5 different types of humidifiers (Bear, Muji, Breathe, generic, portable), none have left a pool of water, and I’m not daft at putting it together. I know when something has malfunctioned.

    I have no idea, it is definitely not dripping from the bottom. Anyway, it shouldn’t matter, you should be arranging for an exchange. This is ridiculous. I shop online exclusively, and with every defect, the seller has always sent me a replacement promptly without so much fuss and delay. Most don’t even ask for the item in return because they can’t sell a faulty product anyway! There is no troubleshooting involved with a humidifier. There are no complicated steps to set it up and run. I am not doing anything that will cause it to drip either from the middle or the bottom, which don’t seem to be the case. It is just wet EVERYWHERE. So please, let’s just move on and arrange for an exchange immediately, or send a new replacement.

    To ask if the lemon slices are on the bottom or if I added too much water to the base sink is pointless. 1) I cannot control where the lemon slices end up, or if they sink or float. But just to appease your line of questioning - they float. They are only at the bottom when the water level is low.
    2) It is impossible to add TOO MUCH water in the base sink, or the water tank. I can’t control how much water fills the base tank. That is the machine mechanism that opens the valve to allow the water to fill the base and go through the funnel to be emitted. It is also only capable of holding a certain capacity, and I do not fill it fully.
