rate: 50Flat battery ... need to check warranty
Prompt delivery, nicely packed and good price but watch was not working, possibly flat battery. Seller should ensure watch is in good working condition before sending out.
I went to a watch shop at bencolen to fix the battery but was advised to go to the seiko service centre at ubi since it is a new watch and the shop don't want to be held responsible if the watch is faulty and not due to battery problem only.
Seller indicated international warranty but when i went to the seiko service centre at ubi, i was told they do not provide warranty for my watch cos it is from parallel import and cover by the seller, not them.
However, since it is a genuine seiko watch, they were able to help replace the battery. Glad that after the hassle, my mum can finally wear the watch. Just hope that it will last cos if spoil when under warranty, hard to liaise with seller for repair since seller is online and do not have any physical outletsFeb 23, 2019
